I'm Jessica Alexander, the founder of Embodied Consciousness. I am a certified Mind Body Therapy Practitioner. I am also certified in both Dynamic Meditation and Reiki Energy Healing. I have a deep passion for finding tools that INSPIRE and heal us on our spiritual and life journey. This passion came from my own personal journey with mental health, my struggle with depression and anxiety, and navigating multiple intense spiritual awakenings. After hitting my rock bottom, that put me in one of the deepest and lowest depressions of my life, I found somatic healing, meditation, and energy work. After trying out dozens of different modalities, these seemed to be the only things that put me back together. I have always been an avid meditator but combining this practice with somatic and energy healing tools was something I had never experienced. Somatic (body-centered) healing grounded me. While meditation, visualizations, and energy healing directly connected me to the Universe (Spirit, God, Source). My work is a unique mix where my two loves intersect, Science and Spirituality. For almost 10 years before I became a Somatic Practitioner, I studied and worked in the life sciences and genetics industry, receiving my Masters of Biotechnology in 2018. This gave me a very unique and grounded view of spirituality. And how our physical body and brain can lead us to our higher consciousness, intuition, and soul. Spirit has divinely guided me on this path and I feel now more than ever that my purpose on this planet is to help guide others from chaos and confusion to clarity and connection!
